Roddan Paolucci Roddan has long been committed to giving back to the community. An opportunity arose in May which allowed RPR to support both local art students and children in South Africa.  TOMS is a philanthropic shoe company that, for every pair of shoes purchased, donates a pair of shoes to a child in need. Their motto is “one for one.” The professional design association AIGA paired up with TOMS and held a shoe-design contest. Participants were asked to purchase a pair of TOMS shoes and create a unique, one-of-a-kind, custom design. For each pair purchased, one pair of shoes was donated to the TOMS cause AND $10 was given to the AIGA scholarship fund. RPR sponsored each member of its design team to participate in this contest. Four of the designs were finalists in the competition. This was a great way to give back while also fostering our creative minds!
