So RPR has started recycling. Now what? Some changes take a while to implement, so the Green Team researched additional options that could be executed immediately. And here is what we came up with:
- Members of the Design & Production Departments had left computers on each night due to the back-up system configuration. In order to save energy, the back-up schedule was rescheduled in order to allow all computers to shut down each evening.
- Employees were encouraged to use the back-side of already printed sheets for uses such as internal meeting agendas, scrap paper, or handouts in meetings.
- Previously, employees would receive an 11 x 17 printout of current jobs/status every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Each employee now had access to that document online and received a printed copy only if specifically requested.
